Stags Head Hotel

I came here for 1 night and had a very nice stay.

Everything was very good, though a few employees were exceptionally busy. The restaurant was big right in the main shopping area near bars and restaurants, I tried amazing dishes. The location was fab, within walking distance of Lake Windermere.

Quirky place to stay with free internet. Beautifully designed room, great walk-in bathroom, accommodating staff. Plentiful breakfast, very efficient service.

It was fairly clean and low-budget place, had good staff and location.

Charming old hotel located in a nice area so close to bars as well as restaurants.

Thank you all for a good stay in a double room. Brand-new units with floor to ceiling magnolia anaglypta and comfy bed plus settee, and the staff were best. The location was perfect, just 5 min walk from The Fun Factory Bowness.

We would recommend this hotel, spent here lovely 1 night. The place was luxurious and had well-trained staff at our request, liked the stay. The continental breakfast was generous with a good choice of food. It had central location close to St Martin's Church.

Didn't like the area, it was quite dirty.

The venue itself is not very welcoming, even so it has informative staff, best possible location.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi was pretty slow.

We loved our lovely stay there a lot. Everywhere was neat, staff were outstanding, nice bed.

Prime location, useful staff, incredibly large beds, comprehensive breakfast, good value. The queen room we had was good standard. Ate at Porto Restaurant, it's relatively near the venue. Not to mention excellent wifi!

It was well priced, compared to other country hotels. Simple location, well-kept facilities. Cosy room, quiet bed, marble-lined bathroom. The service was brilliant during all my delightful stay.

All was neat, I liked exceptional staff and location.

Their breakfast is abundant, includes eggs, bacon and coffee. There's superb salad bar with cool beverages. It also has strong internet and handy parking. The beach is excellent and the views are amazing...

The place was functional and restaurant was affordable. Pleasant location to d & d s & s club. Had absolutely gorgeous guest room with the TV, brilliant shower, as example. Meals where reasonably priced, I tried scrambled eggs, pastries, cheese, cereals and fresh bread.

Convenient place, fairly clean, fair value. Also, the area was local. Booked it for 1 day and had a REALLY REALLY NICE experience.

Its staff and location were ideal, and for us everything was just perfect. The room was very tiny, super bed. Relaxing stay in a professional hotel.

We really loved Stags Head. Magnificent location in the town, only a short distance to tourist attractions. We spent evenings at village inn bar & grill, situated 200 metres from the hotel. Our double room accommodated us perfectly. In addition, free WiFi was useful. Suitable place for 3 nights.

Helpful staff as well as fantastic food. Comfy bed and spotless. Moreover, free Wi Fi was a nice addition.

staff were loyal, and the room was excellent. we liked our stay here and would book here again porto restaurant, where you can eat, is within walking distance of the hotel.

Choosing for lunch The Easy Breeze, which is situated 100 metres away was a good idea. The hotel's position was marvelous.
